About

At Wild Little Builders, we believe in empowering children with real tools and hands-on experience in woodworking. Our woodworking sessions and classes in St Albans are designed to foster creativity and imagination, as children learn to make their own models, toys, and creations. Through woodworking, important skills such as problem-solving, communication and numeracy are learned without the children even realising it. Join us today to discover the joy of woodworking with Wild Little Builders.

Some background...
I am a qualified Geography teacher who was Head of Department at a successful, local school. I loved teaching but after my third child, I found I was becoming more and more involved in helping my husband to run his local furniture-making business. The next ten years were spent running this business and gradually, I found myself being drawn to the hands-on side! Starting with the CNC machine and then designing and making my own range of children's play houses. I found myself missing kids and the social side of teaching, so this year decided to set up these classes which seem to be the perfect answer! I have now completed my EY woodworking course and Paediatric First Aid and am thoroughly enjoying working with children again.
